He works hard to develop strong connections with his patients, by learning about their lives and interests, and finding common ground with each of them. As a dentist, Dr. Seasholtz appreciates and respects the trust each person places in him to care for their oral health, and how they include him in their life.
For each person in his care, Dr. Seasholtz creates personal treatment plans based on their unique needs and situation. He understands that your mouth and treatment goals are not the same as those for another person, and he will treat you as the individual you are. Specializing in complex care, Dr. Seasholtz is known for providing dental treatments that are of the highest quality, and always delivered with gentle hands.
Education and Commitment to Continuing Education
Dr. Seasholtz was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine by the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical/Dental Complex. He was accepted into an accredited university program in dental implants and complex dental reconstruction. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Seasholtz was awarded a certificate in advanced restorative dentistry.
Passionate about learning and furthering his knowledge in order to provide the highest level of care and treatment options for his patients, Dr. Seasholtz actively pursues continuing education opportunities throughout the year. By staying abreast of emerging technologies, developing materials, and changes in treatment methodologies, he is able to ensure his patients receive the best care possible. Dr. Seasholtz is a member of the staff at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital so he can provide comprehensive care for patients who require more complex treatment.
Dr. Seasholtz grew up on a farm just north of Live Oak, FL, with three brothers and a sister. His parents are hard-working Christians who made certain that each of their children understood the importance of caring for others.
Dr. Seasholtz shares his life with his beautiful wife Stephanie, who was voted Campus Belle at North Florida Junior College, where the couple met. They have two incredible daughters, Heather and Hayley.
Spending time with his family and friends is essential to Dr. Seasholtz, though he’s also a passionate traveler. Vacations have taken the family to Alaska, the Bahamas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the West Indies, Mexico, Grand Cayman, France, Spain, Italy, and many other destinations. He loves talking with patients about their travels and plans for upcoming trips.
By the way, Dr. Seasholtz has a strong appreciation for saltwater fishing and will always answer kindly to the title “Dr. Seashells.”
